Any Atlanta Sunny's Girl worth her salt knows that shopping for hair at Sunny's is great but getting there is not!

We have loved being on Peachtree Road in the heart of Buckhead for the past three years but we hated the parking situation... we hated seeing our lovely Sunny's Girls risk their lives crossing the street or climbing two flights of stairs in the icy cold to change your hair...change your life.

So we have been tirelessly looking for a perfect new home, we listened to your feedback and one day we stumbled across the perfect location!

Located right down the street from our current store... is the most darling boutique space next to Spa Sydell and the future Aveda Institute at Brookwood Place!

Atlanta fashionista's will know that this space used to be Sage Clothing Boutique but as of August 1st it will be the new Buckhead home of Sunny's Hair & Wigs.

What we are most excited about is the amazing parking, accessibility and super cute new locale.

So.... we ask our loyal Sunny's Girls to help us spread the word and to be patient with us this July as we transition to our new space.

We can't wait!!!

Silicone Line Micro Beads + Wefted Hair Extensions = LOVE

Lately we have been just bored with the current methods of hair extensions....searching for something beyond strand by strand and sew-ins.

We have been in love with Skin Weft or tape in extensions because they are so fast to apply...but the drawback is that they don't last as long as we'd like.

So it was back to the drawing board.  Then a Sunny's Girl went to Metowi Willingham of Salon Ramsey and had a few tracks added in with a method called Malaysian Hair Extensions and a true love affair began.

The method uses silicone lined micro-links and wefted Indian Hair Extensions from Sunny's to create a flat and almost undecteable form of hair extensions that can last with proper maintenance 1-3 months. 

So far...so good!  We will report back on feedback. 

Pre-Tipped Hair by the Bundle!!!!

Ladies we've heard you!  You don't always need two packages of 808 but sometimes one package isn't quite enough!  Or you are looking to blend a variety of colors and lengths to give a multi-dimensional feel to your pre-tipped hair extensions.

Well...we listened and we are now selling pre-tipped hair by 808 by the individual bundle at all retail locations.  Prices start at $30 a bundle, which includes approximately 30-35 strands per bundle.

Attention Minneapolis and Atlanta stylists... are you aware that Sunny's Hair and Wigs offers free courier service delivery for all orders over $200.

Our stylists who currently take advantage of it, love it because it frees them from having to leave the salon while still being able to control the quality of the hair that their clients buy.

Our clip-in extensions have been big sellers for the holiday season, but being hair-fabulous doesn’t come without its share of questions. Fortunately, we at Sunny’s have the answers!


When you shop at a Sunny’s store you get the what’s what and how-to of clip-ins, from color and texture matching to a quick in-person tutorial. Sometimes one of the girls might even take out her hair and do it up again! For those who shop online or just want to brush up on their hair skills, we posted an instructional video for you!





I always have a piece or two left over but my style looks full and finished. I thought I was doing something wrong, but it turns out I’m not the only one. Africa in our Atlanta store says it’s like a puzzle, and she’s right. Eventually, you’ll develop a pattern of styling that you like, but there’s no right or wrong to how you clip them on!


Speaking of style, don’t forget about coloring clip-ins with funky hair dye for extra length and spice! Orange for tomorrow, red for December. Come the New Year, you can have a new do by adding a couple of hot clip-ins into your regular hair routine. Don’t forget about Valentine’s sweetheart pink and Saint Patrick’s fighting green!
