Jacob Black - Hairstyles of the Twilight Movies

Jacob Black - Hairstyles of the Twilight Movies

It is said that life tends to emulate art; some say it is the other way around, but in the case of Jacob Black hairstyle it is a case of the life emulating art. Since the fictitious character Jacob Black first appeared on the silver screen in Twilight, he has captured the heart of young girls and created a bit of a stir in the fashion industry.

Jacob Black is a primary character in the Twilight series of books and movies. In the movies he has come to life and the actor Taylor Lautner has become so well known for this character that more of his fans relate to the name Jacob Black then they do Taylor "what's his name". This is not to take anything away from the actor but rather to congratulate him on so expertly creating a character that has captured fans attention.

The character Jacob Black goes through a transformation process in the second installment of the Twilight movies. In the New Moon segment of the series he is seen sporting a long ponytail. This differs greatly from his appearance with short hairstyle in the first movie and the actor's personal way of keeping his hair.

Taylor Lautner is honestly well known beyond the adoring character of Jacob Black and has been seen off the set as wearing his hair in an asymmetrical style that takes the attention away from a slightly mis-proportioned nose. Big nose or not the ladies think he looks great and lots of young men are asking their stylist to create a Jacob Black or Taylor Lautner hairstyle.

In twilight his hair cut was less than flattering but his real life style consists of spikes and waves. To emulate this style a stylist needs to tease the hair from the crown and either wrap it loosely or curl it up with a curling lowlight. There are numerous ways that this basic cut can be accentuated. The primary thing is to take the focus of the center of the face and highlight more distinguished features.

Taylor's hair frames his face and focuses on the texture and shimmer of his hair; this can be done with many different accents including a faux Hawk. This faux hawk is becoming increasingly popular and is a great way to lift the attention off the face and highlight the height and proportions of the hair. These cuts are easy to copy and are a great way to provide anyone with a new look.
